Take a risk. Take that great leap of faith across the proverbial chasm. If you do not, your world will crumble and you will fall to your death. You may fall anyhow, but at least you didn’t die in a state of lethargy. If you fall, your world may ended up a post-apocalyptic nightmare clothed in ruin. Amidst the chaos, there is growth. Occasionally, it is dysplastic. Everything can and will be rebuilt, forming a new cliff to leap from. I’m going to paraphrase this quote:
“Take big bites out of life; moderation is for monks” – Robert Heinlen (I think)

Cognitive and behavioral science are becoming a big part of my life. Positive and negative (balance!) introspection is such an integral part of what and who we become. If we can locate stimuli that are exacerbating things, we can eliminate them. Take that home and chew it. Its delicious.
